Reservations had been made for a birthday brunch for party of eight. They were able to seat us promptly and the service was consistently good. The menu is well rounded and everyone got something a little different. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and the waiter/ server had great suggestion on meal choices and additions. There was ample parking and they have a kids play area and outdoor seating for the nice afternoons We would definitely return to this location to try them again.

O M G!!! The food here is amazing. We stopped here for Brunch on our way from Marin County our the the East Bay. Looked at the yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did. I got the chilaquiles (the best I've ever had and I've been to Mexico and am married to a Mexican who makes them all the time). My daughter got the Piggy omelet that she polished off quickly because of how yummy it was. Hubby ordered the Torta and had to stop himself from licking the juices off his plate. The service was great. Food was fantastic. We will be back for sure.

Really good spot for brunch! I prefer the weekday menu, just because they have the breakfast sandwich on it. Not an option for the weekends. Also, love the cheesy polenta. One of the best things on the menu! One great thing about this place is almost everything is homemade. Homemade donuts , hot sauce, jelly, syrup, salsa etc. There's both indoor & outdoor seating. Wheelchair accessible and plenty of room for large groups. It's also kid friendly, with a designated play area out back with toys and books.

What a wonderful place! History buffs: it was an old speakeasy! Service is always great and attentive. We live in town and we enjoy the brunch outside on weekends. (They have a terrific deck in the back, nicely covered with trellises and jasmine!) We love the food-very tasty and super fresh. The cocktails are yummy too! Special note about Nancy, a server that is the best!

Point Richmond is such a charming cloistered enclave that I scarcely believe it's part of the other Richmond, the one with the bail bondsmen, tasty taquerias, and yes, struggling economic conditions. You don't get any of that Richmond in this neighborhood which I can predictably describe as rustically charming. This rather spacious spot is pretty representative of the area and an obvious meeting spot for local regulars judging from the customers who had bellied up to the bar. I came in with no expectations and simply sat at a small table in the dining room where there was already a big central table of people holding court. I was immediately informed by the efficient server of the $10 deal on a Soup & Salad combo, which sounded like a great deal. It was. I ordered the Brezo Salad with a huge slab of grilled free-range chicken along with a cup of their Soup of the Day, which was a nice minestra with kale, tomatoes, onions, and carrots (photo: http://bit.ly/2sHg1jm). The Brezo Salad was a robust mix of roasted beets, carrots, cucumbers, sunflower seeds,, radishes, almonds, avocado, chick peas, and sprouts drizzled in a light lemon dressing (photo: http://bit.ly/2sJZ3R3). Tasty, filling, and such a deal. There were plenty of other temptations in their lunch menu like the caramelized onion kale enchiladas, the cabana Cuban sandwich, and the quinoa kale salad. I'll definitely come back when I'm in a relaxed Point Richmond state of mind. FOOD - 4 stars...really strong soup & salad combo makes me want to come back for more AMBIANCE - 4 stars...spacious, a tad dark SERVICE - 4 stars...Betsy was efficient and courteous TOTAL - 4 stars...compliments the quaint town quite well RELATED - Looking for other places to eat in Richmond? I'm a local who embraces change even in Point Richmond, where locals like it quirky, weird and dated. So it's with great enthusiasm that we checked out Brezo for breakfast. I'm not remembering what was in the location called "the Baltic". but apparently it was not favorable as I mentally blocked it out. Brezo is light, open and quaint. The opposite of what I remember the Baltic being. The food is elevated beyond basic but is plentiful, full of flavor esthetically pleasing and delish! You go! This is going to be a destination location! We went after swimming at the Plunge. It's going to be hard for locals because it may invite hipsters, Marinites, Bezerkleites, and even some San Fransicans. Yep it's rivaling any Brunch, lunch location you can think of. In our quant little alcove, not many folks except residents and chevron folks will know about until.... yep you guessed it socal media and word of mouth! My mouth is open wide and I'm anxious for more! They are refinishing the back deck, adding capacity and alfresco dining option.

Brezo is a newcomer to the Point Richmond restaurant scene, occupying the restaurant formerly known as The Baltic. Its designed for a longer, sit-down lunch. It has a full bar including nifty wine menu. The inside was brightly lit and spacious. Walls were decorated with nice paintings and prints. It looked tiny up front but the back has lots of tables. I came here alone for lunch on a Friday. The menu was interesting in that it had plenty of salad and healthier dishes using black beans. I saw clams on the menu, which might be a first for Point Richmond! I wound up getting the cornmeal-crusted cod sandwich with fries. Excellent sandwich! I liked the flaky, thick cod filet that was lightly dusted with crispy cornmeal. It was seasoned well and had a nice soft, texture. Fries were crispy and well-seasoned too. I am excited to have more dining options close to work. This would be an excellent venue to take visitors or to celebrate work celebrations. Service was initially slow and a bit erratic at first but then got better. I definitely want to come back to try their other offerings.
